Lawkim rebuilds compressors that have failed in the field. Its competency in this area has been developed through years of repairs experience, equipping the company to build new skills in the competence of building new compressors.
Compressors are cut using Plasma welding, thoroughly cleaned, and all components tested for reuse, if any are in good working condition. All cleaned components for reuse are only reassembled if they are in the same condition as those used in new compressors.
Stators have their windings cut, cleaned thoroughly and re-wound with the highest grade of components and materials as used for new compressors.
Rebuilt compressors are assembled in fully controlled conditions and tested to ensure they perform at the same level as new compressors.
The entire process yields valuable data that enables compressor manufacturers to fully understand failure modes and trends in the field.
Different compressor models are treated as per the original process used for new compressors and as laid down by Original Equipment customer requirements.
